Mainstream film and television, not adult production, supplies the material indexed at Ancensored. The site works as a reference database of on-screen nudity, organizing entries by performer and by title so a visitor can look up an actress and find the productions in which she appears. Clips, screen captures and galleries hang off those entries, and the coverage stretches across Hollywood releases and international cinema alike.

Navigation follows reference conventions rather than studio marketing: alphabetical performer listings, title pages that credit each scene, and filters separating television from film. The register is that of an index, favoring lookup speed over editorial commentary. Anyone comparing it with the subscription celebrity archives is really choosing between a catalogued reference and a curated video service, since the two solve quite different problems for the same curiosity.
