Billing descriptors

What is an Epoch.com charge, and how do you cancel it?

Epoch is a payment processor billing on behalf of another website. The charge carries Epoch's name instead of the site you actually signed up to, which is why it looks unfamiliar. That is how the arrangement is meant to work rather than a sign that something has gone wrong.

The good news: Epoch runs a self-service lookup that can cancel the subscription outright, so you do not have to wait on support. That puts it alongside CCBill and in contrast to Probiller, which has no self-service page at all.

Find the purchase, then cancel it

Open epoch.com/find_purchase. Epoch's instruction is to “enter any two of the four fields to retrieve your purchase information” — details from your original receipt email work best, since that email came from Epoch and carries the identifiers it expects.

Once the purchase is found you can cancel the billing from the same tool. Epoch says you will then get an email “confirming that your membership has been canceled and that you will no longer be billed”. Keep that email. If a further charge appears, it is the thing that settles the matter quickly.

Cancelling stops future rebills. It does not refund what has already been taken, so ask about a refund separately if you want the last payment back.

If the lookup cannot find it

Have the amount, the date and the last four digits of the card to hand. Verified against epoch.com on 16 September 2026; we are not affiliated with Epoch. Epoch does not publish its support hours or the names of the four lookup fields, so we do not state them here — other guides do, but not from Epoch's own pages.

Common questions

What is an Epoch.com charge?
Epoch is a payment processor that bills on behalf of other websites, so the charge carries Epoch's name rather than the site you actually joined. Seeing an unfamiliar name is the normal case with a processor of this kind, not a sign that something has gone wrong.
How do I cancel a subscription billed by Epoch?
Epoch runs a self-service tool at epoch.com/find_purchase. It asks for any two of four identifying details to locate the purchase, and you can cancel from there. Epoch states that you will then receive an email confirming the membership is cancelled and that you will no longer be billed — keep it.
What if I cannot find the purchase?
Try a different combination of details, since the lookup matches on any two. Failing that, Epoch lists a toll-free number, +1 800 893 8871, and an international line, +1 310 664 5810. Have the charge amount, the date and the last four digits of the card ready, because that is what identifies a payment when the automated search cannot.
Does cancelling refund what I have already paid?
No. Cancelling stops future rebills and leaves completed charges alone. A refund is a separate request decided by the merchant or the biller, so ask for it explicitly rather than assuming the cancellation covers it.
The charge says something other than Epoch. Where do I go?
Cancel through whichever biller is actually named on your statement, because each one has its own support route. CCBill and Probiller are the two other common names on adult subscriptions, and Segpay, Vendo and WTS appear as well.
